I'd love to see a race like this where everyone has a great day. 1st through 12th running great.
So the silent ban is over? Loll.
Women's side definitely packing the star power/intrigue with comeback races from ESP, Frerichs and Valby. Nur wants to make the stacked USA XC squad and taking down Kurgat/Kemboi would show he's got a real shot.
Really interesting women's race.
This is just Valby's second race as a pro -- and her first since February. First race for Elle St. Pierre since the 2024 Olympics (she gave birth to baby #2 in May 2025).
Let's hope these women are using this as a tuneup for the USA XC champs on December 6. Roe-Kelati-Monson-ESP-Valby-Tuohy would make for a fun XC champs. Kudos to NYRR for getting them all to line up on the roads against each other!
Valby, St Pierre, "racing".

Great that the speculation (which she basically created without fully realizing what she was doing) on Valby will finally be over (the moment she gets on that starting line).
I would not list Tuhoy as a professional. You have to be faster than 16 minutes for that.
Why is Phoebe Anderson listed as a pro? She will be competing for NC State this upcoming indoor and outdoor track seasons.

She's run 15:04 you dolt. Why spend your life being so petty and mean?

About as long as Tuohy's.

I'm most excited with the inclusion of Alicia Monson.
Astro, don't you get tired of derailing threads? Your point has been made endless times.
This post was removed.
She just needs to play the game.
On that score, Valby inspired a generation of college and high school distance runners to go big and know they will never get caught.

So she'd get lapped by Chebet?
