As someone who split a 47, she has enough speed for the 800m WR. What she lacks is endurance. I would have her focus on 1500 instead of the 400m for off-season. Perhaps even run some 5ks. Once she gets the 1500m under 4 or even 3:55, she should be good to go for 1:53.

Isn't this the logic that Kersee used to try justifying how he trained Athing Mu?
Go into all the speed oriented things she already does Midway through the season then start running 8's and 4's. If she's completely switching events and not returning to the hurdles
Coach Laurent Meuwly, Bol, & training partner Eveline Saalberg all posted the same video on Instagram of them doing a type of MAS testing (Maximum Aerobic Speed).
According to the added text on her stories from Saalberg, it looks like one of the tests was running as far as possible for 6 mins, whilst wearing a VO2 measuring mask. There was footage of Saalberg on a treadmill and then on a track, while the footage of Bol just showed her on the track with a portable oxygen measuring mask.
The fact that Saalberg was doing it as well might suggest she is also moving to 800m, or to a 400/800 combo runner, because sprinters would not do this type of training.
