Does anyone know when she’ll be making her debut for BYU? She’s always in BYUs training videos but hasn’t officially raced yet.
Why are you obsessed with this? It’s odd at best and somewhat scary at worst.
This seems like an overreaction. I don’t think it’s odd or scary to wonder when the high school national record holder in multiple events is going to start their college career.

No it isn't. She will race when she and her coaches feel she is ready and it is necessary to do so. Otherwise it is no one else's business. Why are people these days so entitled to know things that do not concern them?

I'm personally not that interested but I don't agree with your take at all. Hedengren is not some random athlete that it would be creepy for someone to be following. Nike just released a 5 minute video hyping her up last week, presumably to get people interested in watching her race, complete a lot of shots with super neon pink training shoes that they are obviously trying to sell. So I'm sure it would be deemed a failure if a lot of people weren't following her every move; she's literally being paid tons of money to attract the attention of fans.
original poster here, I didn’t realize that it was so bad to ask when she would be racing. I don’t think I’m a stalker. Im a female high school runner and she is pretty inspiring to me. I just wanted to know when I could watch her next.

You think it's odd for a fan of the sport to ask when the top HS runner moving to the next level is going to compete?

Exactly. How is it any different than wondering when your NFL team will start one of their new rookies? If we want to promote XC and track, then lets not call out fans like they are stalkers.

Took the words out of my mouth.
There should be track/cross country trading cards.
Pair them with energy gels, like baseball cards were paired with bubble gum

It is when it’s his third thread. In the one thread, he acted like he was almost personally offended by it. It’s weird.

By starting three different threads over 2 weeks? Yeah, it’s a bit freaky. And probably by some 50yo “track fan”.

Dude, some females now have to start their strava runs away from where they live because of “track fans”. So yes, it is concerning. A 19yo female is significantly different than a 25yo NFL football player.

To any sane person, you are not being in the slightest bit weird or stalkerish. I’m also looking forward to see how she makes the jump to the NCAA. I’m assuming giving her talent level it won’t take her long to make an impact.
op here again I’m literally a high schooler… I haven’t posted on this site before so those previous threads u mention aren’t me. God forbid a girl wants to follow college xc 🤦♀️🤦♀️
