NPR?! Then the book must be nothing but liberal platitudes and a call for more transgender participation. If I learned anything from Turning Point USA, it’s that NPR is the leading source of liberal disinformation and grooming.
The crazy part is the book isn’t woke at all, it’s actually funny at times, especially when Brosnan basically said f@ck the Covid rules and found loopholes so his teams could still train. Just a hunch, but Sean Brosnan seems pretty far from being woke. Props to him for getting a huge news outlet to promote his book. I thought the book was a great read

you can’t but the book from NPR, because NPR does not sell books. Their role is to feature and highlight authors and their work through shows like Morning Edition ( which Brosnan was on) or Book of the Day. Being featured means your book is shared with millions of listeners, providing incredible exposure and credibility, but NPR itself does not handle sales or distribution. The focus is on the story and the conversation around it, not retail.
Running is popular with NPR listeners? I’m shocked and shook!
After reading it, I found it to be a very cool, written book, not just for runners. That’s why I think Brosnan really nailed it here. It resonates with a broader audience beyond the running world.

I went to Barnes & Noble and couldn’t find it at first, so I asked the clerk at the info desk. She actually directed me to the motivation section instead of sports. That says a lot about how this book definitely carries a different vibe than your typical running book. So far, I’m really liking it.
