Loved watching her kick everyone’s butt out there. tell me then ROjo why is it that the “goes home devastated” thread gets deleted. More than once. Andrews moderator friend can’t handle the result??
Her run was super impressive in my mind. She showed no fear in leading and still had a good kick at the end.
PS. After I was done, one media guy said, "We've never seen anyone record a film in the mixed zone before."
Dude what fear? They were like 9:20 at 3000, that's 10:00 2 mile pace not only is that not fearless it put no fear into the field, everyone stayed in the race until the last lap.
Before the shot clock in college hoops teams who were overmatched used a strategy called "stall ball" where they slowed the game to a crawl to keep it close, then usually lose something like 20-15 and everyone said "They only lost by 5 points". But had they tried to play a fast game they would've lost by 30. No difference here.
I mean come on, Chebet, Kipyegon and Tsegay are all 14:00, what's the American Record? 14:20? You really think Hooly and Andrews would've been that close with an honest pace?
