Is this the greatest kick we've seen in a women's race?
Out kicking a prime Kipyegon...
Her final splits - 27.86 for the last 200m and 13.44 (!!!!) for the final 100m

anybody watching all year isn't surprised. Yes, she has the GOAT kick. Leaves great runners looking like theyre standing still.
I'm still confused how she can easily out kick the WR holder in the mile/1500m and former 5000m WR holder in a 14:54 race (Kipyegon).
Unless Chebet can also run 3:48 when given another go?
Chebet needs to go for the Hassan 21 Triple!!
No, it was actually a very disappointing kick given past performances. Kipyegon has closed significantly faster in the past and so has Chebet. 13.3 and 13.4 splits have happened a few times in Kipyegon's (and Hassan's) final laps. Today, Faith never ran a 100 under 14. Wonder what happened. Maybe the humidity?

Hassan closed her 10k gold performance in Tokyo 4 years ago in 13.4
Yes
Why doesn’t she go down and crush 1500 as well? Faith has nothing for her at least not anymore.
Being juiced means a runner can produce their best sprint speed at the end of a race because they have not been aerobically exhausted. That is where a lot of these phenomenal kicks today are coming from. It is all too obvious.

Which race in Tokyo did you like most? Men's steeple?
