Trying to decide if it's worth it to go to Tallahassee to watch World XC in person.
For those who've watched XC meets Apalachee Regional Park, is it a good spectator experience?
The course map has two designated spectator areas. Do spectators have to stay in those areas? How much of the action can be seen from those spots? I'd hate to go through the hassle of traveling all the way out there if I'm only going to be able to see the runners coming by a few times in the race.
Wondering about seating too because 3 hours would be a long time to be standing (first race starts at 9:45 and last one starts at 12:20). Do they have bleachers? Do people bring their own folding chairs? Or do most spectators just stand the entire time?
Please forgive my ignorance. I've been to track meets but I've never been to an elite XC meet and I've never been to Tallahassee.
