Big Tex makes 800 final and everyone here wets their pants for however long it takes to run the final. In the meantime, they spank it to Keely every round but can't make it past the 200 split.
Hot Take. With world's later, athletes who started their season early (RIP GST) are going to be fully cooked come world's. Well done when you add the Tokyo heat. Expect those with early season injuries to ride fresh legs to some big wins.

There hasn’t been a repeat winner in the men’s 1500 for quite a few championships (since Kiprop 10 years ago I think), but my hot take is that this is the year we see it happen again.

No Paris medalists on the podium in the men’s 1500
That's spicy. I say Jakob doesn't make the 1500 final but medals in the 5k in a sub-13 race.
Everyone is scared of Hocker and Laros so the pace is hot from the start. Jakob does his long kick from 1k out but Fisher hangs on him and outkicks him. Nico Young wins the chase pack for 3rd

There’s no way fisher hangs with Jakob if he pushes hard from 1k. Fisher can’t run a sub 2:30 close with a 51-53 last lap, Jakob can.
