It was all Brady
"After Brady departed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, Belichick had just one winning season in his next four years before he and the Patriots reportedly mutually agreed to part ways."
Not good 🙄
This was inevitable, if a bit unexpectedly quick.
UNC is - and always will be - a basketball school.
It’s a long season and change takes time. Give the man some grace.
What a miserable human being. Unable to treat reports with even a modicum of respect.

Brady didn't coach or play D. It was both.

Jordon will be dating the basketball coach by Halloween.
Just like with Arch Manning (and most distance running fans), people are too fickle regarding hype and bust. Especially with opening games and opening races. Just let the season breathe and make the judgments at the end rather than the beginning. They are called rust busters for goodness sakes!
Texas only lost by 7 points to the #3 team Ohio State.
UNC lost to the #50 ranked team and had 41 unanswered points. It was the most points scored against Belichik in his 29 years of coaching. It was a drive-by colostomy.

So? On to the next. Rinse and repeat.
I guess they should’ve scheduled Elon instead.
I don't see anything in his non-Brady years, with any team, that suggests he is a head-coaching mastermind.
But at the same time, he deserves credit for what they accomplished when he did have the greatest football player ever, at the most important position.
I'm not expecting much from his time at UNC, except that it will be brief and he will be collecting checks from the university for years to come.
Lost his first NFL game too. Not by 40 though

There are few games that are 34 point wins where you can say, it wasnt even that close. I wasn't shocked by a loss, they have 70 new players, I was shocked how completely inept they were comprehensively? D had no answer to anything... TCU had 20 completions at half and a 111 yd rusher 2 sec into second half. A scoop and score, and pick and score on D. NC Off found nothing that would work. How does Bill not have a decent defense? Worst secondary I have ever seen. 10yd cushion on everything because they had no answer.
It will take time with 70 new players to get this. Year two will be a different story, if he lasts that long. His backup qb was 9-10, so if they go with him from now on, their offense might be better.

Technically as the HC, he puts the team together and gets the coordinators like an executive should. So 12 superbowl appearances and 8 rings as a coordinator or HC is pretty much OG level stuff. Nobody is in the same galaxy. Only in this world can people question that. I think having a great QB is always recommended, is that really new info? BB is without a doubt considered one of the best Defensive minds of all time. They started from scratch on D several years they won a ring. Brady didn't play defense or any other position for that matter.
The debut sucked but..............
Hes not there for just 2025, obviously bringing North Carolina to the upper ecelon will take some time. I do see the old guy turning things around starting with a legit QB.
