Question - is this performance better than his actual record? His record was achieved without pacemakers and this had groups of pacers coming in and out of the event to help the athletes which of course adidas failed to really disclose because they want people to think any improvement is because of their shoes. So Sorokin was only 1min25 seconds faster over 100km in a race he had pacing help vs one when he didn't.

I think his previous result was better than this one. I don't think Sorokin has been *quite* at that previous level since his 100km WR, which is too bad. Would have been quite interesting up front if he were in peak shape for this today, but I don't think he was.
