As the title states, it’s UTMB week! The Super Bowl of ultrarunning is here. Lots of big names going to be out there including Courtney Dauwalter trying to clinch her FOURTH UTMB title. Abby Hall fresh off her Western States win will be there as well, along with Ruth Croft, Emily Hawgood, Heather Jackson, and Lindsey Dwyer (all podium contenders). Jim Walmsley will be running in one of the shorter races which I suspect is due to still returning from injury. Rod Farvard will be racing after a DNF at mile 90 of Western States. Hayden Hawks will be running after not racing since Terawera in February. Tim Tollefson will be racing the 100 as well. Tom Evans, Ben Dhihine, Jeff Mogavero… all of them will be there for the 100 mile as well.
Who do you think? I’m saying Courtney on the women’s side and I’m undecided on the men’s. Not cheering for HH but that’s personal lol. Let’s hear it who’s going to win it this year!
