Let’s just pretend that you were an elite athlete for a second (huge stretch, I know, as you probably suck) and you were going to your state championship and got beat by some dude that was juiced to the gills (like Ben Johnson, Lance Armstrong or Bill Romanowski would have done if there was no testing) but even more of an advantage. You’d be pretty pissed. The advantage males have over females in sports is orders of magnitude greater than the one or two percentage points one can get from doping. You dismiss this because you have never had to compete against something with such a disproportionate advantage. An average athlete can become elite just by changing their identity.
