Is Parker training with coburn? A few days ago she posted a pic with coburn’s daughter, and today continue posted a pic with baby shoes thanking Parker for them.
I can lowkey see Valby thriving in this group......idk why. Coburn, Jennings, etc. seem much more her vibe. I know people have their things to say about Bosshard but he lowkey reminds me of Palmer.

honestly, yeah. I hadn't even considered it due to the fact it's really not much of a "group" anymore with the mass exodus of athletes from what was a very large female team. the pretty blonde vibe with runs followed by fancy Boulder brunch and Crested Butte altitude camp while staying at the Coburn's very nice home, driving to and from practice in Range Rovers is EXACTLY Parker's style.

Both of you nailed it. And with the recent competitive struggles with this Team Boss club, along with the dwindling roster, they would likely kowtow to her every need to keep the team alive and relevant. Which means this would be a good fit, and she would likely do well in this environment. Fact is, this team needs Parker more than Parker needs the team, so count on all of this happening and getting the blessings of New Balance along the way.
I wonder if the staff at Crested Butte Mountain Resort enjoyed mopping up the "Parker Puddle" under the "Arc Trainer from the 1800s."
I appreciated that Parker didn't apply a superfluous apostrophe and butcher the 1800s reference.
No way the University of Florida taught her that. She carried that clarity to Gainesville, just like somebody will have to carry her replacement arc trainer.
I can completely see how this could be true. Coburn cross-trains frequently (like Praught Leer did when she was injured during her time w Bosshard) and she’s big on strength training as well. From the outside, her approach seems to fit well with Parker’s training in Florida. Parker is also younger than Emma and in a different event, so they’re not really competing with or against each other. still holds true if Emma retires soon or moves to the roads. The same goes for Jennings and it seems like Emma has mentored her and they have a good relationship. So, it’s easy to imagine Coburn and Parker wanting to create something similar. On top of that, Coburn is with New Balance. The arrangement seems symbiotic: Bosshard gets to work with an athlete early in their pro career and see if he can develop her as successfully as he did Jennings
Coburn cross trains but when she is healthy, she’s doing 80 mile weeks. She’s pounding pavement and the track. She didn’t become a world champion primary cross training.

Maybe altitude will help PV
Gabbi has yet to make a team.
I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think Valby is going to have a successful career wherever she goes. If she can’t ever do relatively high mileage (70+ /week) she’ll never be relevant. Even if she can’t sorta stay with the pack, she’s going to continue to get her doors blown off the last 800-400 meters

Define "successful career." She is an Olympian already. That is more successful than probably at least 95% of US pro distance runners. In fact, she is the youngest US 10000m runner ever and the 4th youngest ever at longer than 1500m - O'Brien: Marathon (1 year younger), Huber: 3000m (about 7 months younger), and Coburn: Steeple (about a month younger). She will make quite a few future US teams. Will she ever medal? Who knows. But you do not need to be on the podium at the Olympics to have a "successful career."
Emma money + Valby money is the best of both worlds in the beaches and mountains. If someone else has an adequate home in Oregon or California, they can vacation all year round including trips to Europe in the summer.
