“More than anything, definitely a lot of self reflection, a lot of understanding of not only putting myself in a compromising situation with somebody that I have a deep care and appreciation for as well, is something that — holding myself accountable,”
There is simply no way she came up with that herself. I mean at least the people writing these things for these athletes could make it seem somewhat plausible/believable that it came from the athlete.
And because of that is there any chance she really means it? Draw your own conclusions. But I'm everyone will fall over backwards again to accommodate her - like a spoilt child. None of this helps her in the long term.
I'd prefer to just watch athletes jump higher/run faster/throw farther for my time and money. I really don't care about their sexual preferences, civil behavior issues or their social media scandals. Just run fast, jump high and throw far please.
She also issued a public apology to Coleman, shown at the first link below.
I think the apology is much better. It definitely sounds sincere.
In her apology, she mentions past trauma pertaining to unconditional love. If anyone's wondering what that's about, it's probably related to her mother who abandoned her when she was a child. In the past, she's said the following about the impact her mother's abandonment had on her:
“I always was asking myself, ‘What's wrong with me? Why is it that you don't want to be here?’ " she recalled. "Like if my mother doesn't want to be around me then I was like I'm pretty sure nobody want to be around me.”
None of that excuses what SCR did to Coleman at the airport, but it can help with understanding. From her statement and what Coleman said previously, it sounds like SCR is seeking help with whatever psychological challenge(s) she's facing. I hope it works out for her.
Sha'Carri Richardson was raised by her grandma Betty Harp and aunt Shay Richardson, whom she calls Mom. Here's everything to know about Sha'Carri Richardson's family.

I'm starting to understand why people say you're a racist pos

Exactly. But some posters love to over-react don't they?
Fred Kerley was still prancing around in the Diamond League after being arrested TWICE for beating women. Stop that "if the roles were reversed" nonsense, there're countless exemples across all sports/industries that nothing happens
