- Ollie is targeting 3:46 - 3:47 in an attempt to get his Australian record back from Cam Myers (3:47.48)
- Ollie pumping up his workout prowess again, this time Sunday's workout: 1:51/800, 2x400 @ 54-55, 3x300 @ 40, 5x1k @ 3:00
Men's field by far best ever for SWM, mostly because of this summer's unusual schedule where top US-based athletes are still training in the US, waiting for European DLs and CT meets to resume.

One race within the race is the three steepers, Quigley, Markezich, and Gear, although Gear probably wins that one, even if Markezich didn’t have a bit of a setback this spring, since Gear is the better miler.

The race overall might come down to Gear and… Aragon?
Let’s see if Gear got some supercompensation from that big steeple race six days ago, and bests her PR of 4:23.69.

But if it is ‘just’ a 4:27 race, she may not have incentive to solo a 4:23.x. Not sure who else can run that.
