I think he'll get fourth in the 10000 and Silver in the 5000 at Worlds provided he recovers well from the 10000. He very clearly has great speed and it will help in a final mile burnup in the 5000 that has happened every year.
I don’t think Nico will get a medal. I think the Championships will be a bit too much for him. I hope I am wrong. Aregawi would be the favorite I would think. And Barega is a 25 year old Olympic champion in his prime who has run 26:44 this year. Then there is always a strong Kenyan. And Fisher of course.
I'm still picking Grant. It looked like he didn't want to go to the well today from about ~50m left, not to the same extent that Nico wanted the win. I think I still favor Grant's kick in a sub-27 race. Nico strong contender to medal though.

Agreed. After seeing Americans go 1-3-5 in the men’s 1500m last year, I’m giddy thinking about the possibility that the same thing can happen in the 10k this year!
In the world final Grant will lead much less as the Africans take the pace and put himself ahead of Nico I believe. However I'm starting to believe in 2 American medals in the 10k
