There's not much substance to Schreiner's complaint. Most of it consists of repeating the same allegations over and over again in the case of each one of the four defendants - Princeton University, John Mack, Kimberly Keenan-Kirkpatrick and Leone Timing.
The complaint charges that by not letting Schreiner run in the women's race he registered for online ahead of time and he showed up champing at the bit to compete in on the day of the meet in May, the defendants individually and jointly committed malcious, atrocious and heinous discrimination against him - as they allegedly all knew beforehand that if Schreiner were denied the chance to smoke female athletes on the track at the Ellis Invitational, he'd inevitably "suffer great harm."
The complaint alleges that the defendants all engaged in a conspiracy with one another to carry out the dastardly deed of supposedly singling out Schreiner for ostensibly unlawful gender identity discrimination too.
Some choice passages:
“The actions of the two Princton [sic] officials were in blatant and willful disregard of Sadie’s rights based on Sadie’s rights under controlling New Jersey law thereby causing Sadie Schreiner to forseeable emotional and physical harm.”
“Each of the Defendants were aware that Sadie is a transgender woman and knowingly and maliciously discriminated against Sadie Schreiner on the basis of her gender identity and expression.”
“The unlawful actions of Princeton University, aided and abetted by the three other defendants, caused Sadie’s relatives and friends who were present at the meet… to witness the humiliating, dehumanizing and dignity-stripping ordeal and the effects of the Defendant’s collective unlawful behavior against Sadie.”
“Plaintiff suffered and continues to suffer great emotional harm as a direct result of Princeton University’s actions.”
“Princeton University and the three other Defendants acted with actual malice by removing [Schreiner] from the races because she is a transgender woman.”
“Princeton University acted with wanton and willful disregard for the rights of Sadie to participate under New Jersey law when it was forseeable that Sadie would suffer great harm by the act of excluding her from the race.”
“As a direct result of John Mack’s actions, Plaintiff has suffered inter alia severe and continuing emotional distress, humiliation embarrassment.”
“As a direct result of the actions of Kimberly Keenan-Kirkpatrick, Plaintiff has suffered inter alia severe and continuing emotional distress, humiliation embarrassment.”
“As a direct result of the actions of Leone Timing, Plaintiff has suffered inter alia severe and continuing emotional distress, humiliation embarrassment.”
“Defendant’s actions were outrageous, extreme, atrocious and utterly intolerable in a civilized community and go beyond the possible bounds of decency.”
“Defendants individually and collectively caused Sadie great emotional distress that was and is so severe that no reasonable person could be expected to endure it.”
Cry me a river.
