Would you want your president to be a competitive triathlete? It takes so much time to train the three disciplines, I'd be a little concerned that they aren't all-in on running the government. If you're a head of state running 20mi per week, going 3-4miles each morning, that's one thing, but getting the runs, long bike rides and swims in to be near the top of your age group in local races takes more time than I have as a working parent with a job that I expect is considerably less demanding.
