How many pair of underwear should an adult male own at one time?

If you do your laundry once a week, seven. If you do your laundry every two weeks, fourteen. If you do your laundry once a year, three hundred and sixty-five, or three hundred and sixty-six every four years. Seems pretty simple.

Well, I am 38 and still own underwear from middle school. Problem is that my wife started throwing away some with holes. She also forbids me from doing laundry, so there have been several times when I didn't have a clean pair and I just buy a new package. I'd say I'm currently at around 20 pairs.

I don't understand why men wear underwear. Feels restrictive, lowers your fertility rate, sweatier, worse airflow. I haven't worn underwear for many years.

You forget that they want be turned inside out and worn. So you only need half as many as you suggest.

This is incorrect. There are countless moments where needing a second pair for the day is necessary. Having just 7 means either you are wearing to dirty underwear longer than you should or you have to wash more than once a week. I have 20 pairs. I usually go through about 14 a week. After work I like to shower and change.

As a pro runner I only ever wear shorts or jogging pants. I don't own any actual trousers.

You can get pi with 22/7.

I shower and change after a run.

I rest on day, so I need 12 pairs.

If I start doubling I will need 24.

Why own if you can rent?

And if you don't do laundry, you only need one.

I'd say I have about 15 pair.
