What are the odds she just goes pro before finishing? I’d imagine low because of NIL, but are there any factors that could change this? Exciting talent outa NY/NC

she's got a long way to go before that becomes a serious question. She could bridge that gap tomorrow, or take two steps back.
Unique distance athlete with a great chance to be a player for LA. But she's not all the way there yet.
If/When she becomes the alpha of her own group, it'll be time.
Yes. Why jump the gun? At least let her race Friday, for goodness’ sake.
She’s still young (a couple of years younger get than Lemngole, who is great, too, of course). I expect her course to be some steady improvement over the next year or two, even if she does have what looks like a breakthrough race tomorrow or a solid jump in performance in XC in the fall. After a little more time and that opportunity for growth, you can start to think app out her next-level potential some more.
However it does bring up a good question in our modern world. Since Cross Country and Track are considered to be separate sports, can you compete as a collegiate in Cross Country and be a professional in Track? Similar to someone playing college football and minor league baseball at the same time.
a few semesters of progression does not a pro career make. very talented and lots of promise but still needs grooming before jumping full time into diamond and pro events.
She doesn't even have an NIL deal yet, does she? Although I could easily see her debuting an Adidas kit in Paris today.
But Wolfpack XC team culture seems to be strong enough that regardless of how good she gets, I'm sure she'll run XC through her senior year, even if she were to go pro immediately after.

Time trial or not, how is she able to run a steeple only 10secs off her 3000m PB set in March? 😮
Young people can improve rapidly. Morgan Herbst ran a 55.11 PR 400 this winter and then just ran the 400 hurdles yesterday in 55.89.
Natalie Dumas ran a 2:07 800 PR this winter, and then a few days ago ran a 2:02 as her third race of the day.
Sometimes everything just clicks with your training and you have a big breakthrough.
What you say may be true.
But when Valby’s performances were laid down on a much less steep trajectory, Armstronglivs and astro wallpapered this place with pages and pages of drug accusations.
