HSer Maurice Gleaton and Christian Coleman get into an altercation at Star Athletics Sprint Series

Apparently started when Gleaton looked back at Coleman while crossing the line as he ran 9.82 in the finals of the Star Athletics sprint meet. Coleman said he felt disrespected and started shouting at Gleaton. Gleaton talked back and Coleman had to be physically held back from going after him. As Gleaton was walking away, he shouted "How do you get rolled by an 18 year old?"

Stupid drama but i'm sure someone here would find it funny. There are a few videos of it floating around on twitter right now.

That is one sure way to end his career. If he hits a teenage competitor, he will never be invited to another meet again. They may overlook past drug bans (Houlihan) or even altercations with police (Kerley), but I think hitting a kid would end it for anybody. He ought to thank the guy who held him back.

There are plenty of idiots thinking that track “needs” this kind of garbage. Why should we believe high schoolers aren’t also doping after what happened a few years ago? That text exchange doesn’t mitigate anything, just shows the level of ignorance and lack of class we’re dealing with on both ends.

Gleaton is probably doping anyways. I don't believe any of these "high schoolers" running sub 10.00. Trackflation is due to steroid usage.

100 percent. These sub 10 high school sprinters are way dirtier than even the collegiates and pros imo. Steroid use in HS football and baseball is fairly common and not even really taboo at this point. Guys will openly discuss cycles and strategies to dope better in these sports, and a lot of these sprinters are probably dual sport athletes that play football in the fall. A lot of them may not even realize they are breaking the rules when they just keep doping into track season.

Testing is absolutely non-existent and the drugs can be ordered off the internet. The only thing stopping you is a sense of morals and I guess fear of the possible side effects.
