I think 12:35 is even tougher than many seem to believe, and when JI -I hope- takes his chance (if he goes for it before 2027 I think he will be the one to break it) I highly doubt he'd be able to go below 12:34.
12:33.99 is IMHO 19.18 or 1:40:90
Or, more precisely, 42.99, meaning I feel that WVN was the one to lower his own WR but that tragic injury happened. Chep has not faced anything remotely comparable but he has not had a full healthy year since then.
