U18 record: 1:43.37, Mohammad Aman, according to World Athletics. The source linked below says 1:44.14 by Max Burgin.
U20 record: 1:41.73, Nijel Amos, according to World Athletics.
In HS, I think 1:44.xx is likely. Sub-1:44 seems like a bridge too far in HS, even for an athlete of Lutkenhaus' caliber. I could be wrong, though. To beat Aman's U18 record he'd probably have to get into a Diamond League or World U20 Champs. Maybe Pre Classic like Alan Webb? Impossible to predict if he can run 1:43 in high school. Leaning with no.
In college, though, I have a feeling he can beat the NCAA record at 1:43.25 by Michael Saruni. As far as the U20 record goes, Lutkenhaus' best shot of beating Amos' 1:41.73 is to get into a global final with Arop, Sedjati, Wanyonyi, and Hoppel. Amos did 1:41 chasing Rudisha. Again, this is impossible to predict. He'd have to run 1:41 before he turned 20, which only 1 person in history has ever done according to World Athletics rules.
What's clear, though, is that he can go much faster than what he ran today, since he negative split 53.589/52.667. I have a feeling that if he keeps improving and stays healthy, he'll eventually be at least in the 1:41s, if not faster. By then, the world record could be in a very different place than it is now with the top 800 guys at the doorstep of Rudisha's WR, and Arop's desire to go sub 1:40.
