Directly behind the pacer. Not yet keeping up with the top guys but it can happen. It was the first 1500 of the season. I wonder if he runs the European team championships.

So impressive. He went for it and made the race by sticking right to the wavelights after the pacer stepped off
I love to see this. When he was closing a slow indoor race in 24, you knew he had talent, but he'd had injuries and not put it together. This is a very good sign for him after breaking 3:50 indoors. I think this is a 2 second drop.
All Farken puns welcome for this spectacular performance. Good on ya, mate.
Would have been even better with a Farken-Hoare 1-2
Hoare ran very well also at 3:31.13. Impressed by Essayi. He’s slowly chipped away, after being part of the American university system. Tim coming back into form, and Habz looking spectacular over that last 400m. Add the Americans and Kerr, and we have quite a turn up for the 2025 season. The big question mark is Ingebrigtsen’s return.

Graphical race analysis here. It was a really good close for the top 2 and Hoare (53-hi or 54-flat). Reynold Cheruiyot 26.6 last 200 with extra distance. Pihlstrom ran damn near 1500 meters, while Essayi, Riva, Ciattei (really) bad and R. Cheruiyot ran a lot of extra distance. No data on Farken unfortunately.
