About 3 1/2 years away, starting to feel those 3 things are the most important to channel my energy as well. I'll add a few things- cultivating friendships, travel- adventure and being more involved in social work.
I wholeheartedly believe 60-95 will be the greatest most rewarding time of my life. Not worried about being older or any stigmas that come with it, but living past 100m and being extremely frail, mentally diminished, and dependent doesn't sound fun.
Having suffered some terrible loss in the past year, I can say that what I care about more than anything is knowing God, cultivating joy rooted in eternal truth, and trying to love the people around me. It is all that matters.

That's a good list.👍 I'm in my mid-60s & things start really changing mentally & physically at this age. You really have to be on your game with nutrition, excercise, sleep, etc, to stay healthy & out the medical system, and not be a burden on your loved ones.
Can't argue with that list at all. When it comes to it really health is the only thing that is important.
If you are sick and unhealthy you can't enjoy your time with family and friends, you can't enjoy travel or food, or any of the most basic enjoyments in life.
Nobody undergoing chemotherapy would think, "If I had one wish, I think I'd wish for a trip to Paris."
Ok, but realistically how many times does a 60 year old actually do it in a week/month?
I'm guessing you're referring to sex:
For me it's feast or famine. From October through January I dated a much younger woman and it was multiple times a week.
We're no longer dating and it's never.
I don't do casual sex. As I've gotten older I need to have a connection with the woman.
A serious connection- good friends or currently/previously dating.
As far as the list overall- I agree.
You learn that you can't take the people you love for granted.
The same goes for fitness- it takes more to stay fit/healthy as you age.
64 yr old here. Bodybuilder/muscle builder working out everyday. Widowed no GF: You've bragged about getting younger women a lot. Curious, what do these younger women look like? Attractive, fit young girls? (e.g, Bill Bilichick's twentysomething hottie) or unattractive, overweight/obese girls that guys in their age range don't want?
Secondly, are you loaded & leading with your wallet to attract these girls? I know you've mentioned that you're in excellent shape - lean & low BF and all that? - but unless you look like a Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise, that's usually not good enough to get the interest of younger, attractive women. For example, 6'5" jacked Dolph Lundgren (65) is engaged to twentysomething former model Emma Krokdal. And even with his height & looks, he's still a multi-millionaire. 😉
Now of course, no matter what answers you give, I have no way of knowing if it's true or not. This is an anonymous discussion forum where anyone can make up anything they want.
What I do know is that training in gyms as a bodybuilder for over 40 yrs now, I've yet see any 60 plus yr old bodybuilder/musclebuilder date a very young hot girl. I have seen some date less attractive younger women - usually overweight & average looking at best. And even these guys have some $$$ to play with using it as leverage to get with these girls. 🤣
