Why is this the only DL meet the last three years that decides to publish their entries as a google drive link instead of updating their website designed for this... Much more difficult to parse for the fantasy DL. Also it says "as of 22 may" so why wait five days to release it?
Shelby no longer has the rocket fuel finish of 2019. . .
So far . . . but note what she stated in her Track Fest post-race interview.
Essentially, doesn't get "dialed in" until after a stint at altitude . . . which she has not done yet.
Won't go to Flag until after Rome.
Then the Pre 1500 July 5th.
Then back to Flag for more altitude.
Then USAs starting July 31st.
So, not expecting a fabulous time in Rome, but do expect Shelby to get her sub-14:50 Tokyo Q since she rabbited The TEN through 5000 in 14:59-point two months ago.

DL has really gone downhill. Weak fields, amateur publishing of start lists, and live results page malfunctioning during meets.
OK, so the women's 400mH field in the DL will obviously not get many current US GST racers like Jones, Cockrell and Little. (I'm not including Sydney, since she hasn't run a DL 400mH in years AND is a racer in GST) Also, Bol is preparing for a Dutch meet on the 9th, so she won't compete at DL Rome (6th) and Oslo (12th) as they are too close.
So considering that, they got about the best quality of athletes that were available. Clayton, Knight and Salmon are some of the best Jamaica has to offer and Maraval, Folorunso, Nielsen and Peeters are some of the better European athletes. Sure, none of them are likely to set a WL or break a global/meet record, but to call it trash seems disrespectful.

Of course, but it just annoys me. They have the ability to allocate the disciplines. They knew that Bol wasn’t gonna be running, as soon as the FBK Games timing came out. They also knew the situation with GST. So to me they should’ve backloaded one of the DL allocations to Paris. It was a little disrespectful, but a field where nobody might be able to run with 3 seconds of the events best is tough.
