Was in the stands at Folsom Field to witness that finish, easily one of the most exciting I've seen in person. Was cheering really hard for Mantz as he entered the stadium, he really left it all out there and collapsed as soon as he broke the tape. Really nice guy and total class act too, he hung around the finish area and let a bunch of fans get pictures with him

Crazy finish! It was awesome. I hope Conner celebrates with some solid microbrews. He definitely earned a night of celebration and sloppy drunkenness in Boulder tonight!
This was exciting. I’ve become a big Conner fan, can’t help but cheer for the guy. Whoever was calling the race they were great, was expecting to have to mute them. Sidenote- klecker looks like a body guard tagging along with these guys for security. He barely moves his arms when he runs, has it always been like that?
I believe the commentators were Frank Shorter and Alan (?) Culpepper. Both very good. Klecker is a big guy but seems efficient. Reminds me a bit of Herb Lindsay from back in the day.

Herb looks small in all the pictures I googled but an article said he was 5”9 150 lbs so maybe he got kinda jacked at some point? Klecker isn’t a huge dude he just looked so big next to everyone else today
