Grad, not undergrad...Ivy don't allow grad student eligibility. Surely a couple (Rodman and Witt) could have gone to Stanford if they wanted though...
Not many routine masters programs at Stanford. Professionals schools very tough admits often needing work experience.
I think Sprout (who went there as an undergrad) did a masters in CS and they took some mid-distance runner from Penn as a grad a couple of years ago. Very infrequent though for other programs - the only other one I can think of (in a different sport...) was Katie Meyer - the tragic soccer goalie to their law school
Does Stride Report say what their remaining eligibility is? Best I can tell from TFRRS, looks like Bendtsen has just XC, Rodman has just outdoor, Witt has all 3, and O'Brien has...maybe 1 XC and 2 outdoors?
Funny that Vig coached at UVA right before Princeton. Curious if anyone knows how either of these excellent, orange-clad programs train because it'd be an interesting case study to see if a change in system brings a change in results. X's and O's notwithstanding, Witt in particular might really benefit from working with Gary Martin

Vig also has some good results. He was still there I think for R. Andrews.
Recruiting in roster management is an interesting business.
I would assume UVA recruits freshmen well and has lots of talent returning, though I haven’t checked. In the year rosters are cut to 17/45 they are bringing in 4 grad transfers. Good for the transfers, tough for hopeful incoming freshmen and probably a few getting cut.
