Here's a quick guide to the 2025 SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, including a schedule, links to results and how to to watch the annual track and field meet.
Unresolved knee issue from indoors, so redshirted this outdoor season. Whether Amy actually stays at Stanford for 5 years and competes during the 2028 outdoor season is highly problematic.
But, did you notice, no Whittaker & Dudek? A real Olympic letdown season from Juliette while looks like Zofia's 15:23/5000 from the Stanford Invite is going to waste. Possible but unlikely one/both return for West Regionals.
However, Sophia Kennedy keeps rollin' on. More and more, looking like she's the star women's distance recruit for Stanford since Elise Cranny 10 years ago and the runner most likely to succeed throughout the remainder of her college career.
Somewhat ironically, Ricardo/coach has managed to keep most of his guys healthy this year so all are racing this weekend. Leo Y, Dargan & Bergen look like a solid D1 1500 lineup when it appeared the team would have no mid-d presence this season. Good opportunity to see how they measure up against the best in the country. Same w/these 3 plus Lex Y, Sprout & Boyden in the 5000.
interesting entries. McCabe in 5000, not 3000s. LHL in 1500 and 5000 (and Hutchins), no 3000s either. Chamberlain in both 800 and 1500. Looks like most are skipping their event at Nationals.
I wonder if LHL is thinking about running the 5000 at Nats. That is probably her best shot at a win if Lemngole runs the steeple and Kosgei runs either the steeple or the 10/5 double.

I agree on that maybe being her best shot but why run this, especially with McCabe in there it won't be an easy win. Unless BYU got surprised by McCabe. But McCabe does not even have the 3000s qualifier that I can see. So the 5000 could end up a very stacked event. LHL (no 10000 qualifier), Hilda (no 10000 qualifier and not entered in SEC 10000), McCabe (presumably gets a qualifier), Hartman and Kosgei (tho would likely be off a double), even Kennedy (likely fresh). Doris maybe gets the easy 3000s unless Kosgei decides to go that way. 10000 looks like maybe Kosgei, I'd say likely Hartman, Noe and the Oregon ladies.

Seattle University will be put out of its misery with another DFL finish before they head to the WCC, where that conference doesn't sponsor indoor or outdoor track.

We'll see if McCabe actually steps to the line. Today's WVU T&F press release didn't mention her at all.
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. ??? The West Virginia University track and field team will travel to Lawrence, Kansas for the Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May
Rematch in the 3000SC between Angelina Napoleon (9:29) and Sophie Novak (9:27) from the wake Forest invit. Will Novak let Napoleon pace the race and just out kick Napoleon at the end????

I didn't know Novak could compete for a Conf title while redshirting this season.
Interesting that Hartman is only doing the 5. My guess is that she will be doing more at the NCAAs and her legs are being saved. Either a 1500 & 5k or a 5 & 10. The regional schedule makes a 1500 & 10k double nearly impossible.
