Considering the recent conflicts (Ukraine, Gaza, Taiwan, India-Pakistan, Yemen), it's likely going to be a war between the judeo-christian civilization (with Hindu support) against the barbaric islamo-marxists.
The good side: America, Ukraine, Israel, India, Taiwan
The dark side: China, Russia, Iran, Hamas, Houthis, Hezbollah and Pakistan

India will always be neutral. India also has 200 million Muslims and has nothing against Islam.
Ultimately the new conflicts are a byproduct of the financial ramifications of COVID shutdowns. Everyone felt good about printing money and hiding in their basements. This is the price to be paid.

No. If you think this is the start of WW3, what is your theory of how these regional conflicts will escalate beyond the current participants?
And for that matter, what do you think will cause Taiwan to go 'hot' - last time I checked there wasn't really a war there. The situation is similar to how it's been for decades, where the PRC claims Taiwan but isn't doing anything about it beyond exercises of 'soft' power like preventing them from getting a UN seat.
What are the treaties, and/or incentives, that cause these conflicts to escalate? That's what made the world wars into world wars.
I also think we need to remember the scale of a "world war."
When 28 guys get killed in some military action in XYZ, that is tragic for them and their families. When a bomb blows up 100 people, that is an atrocity and unacceptable!
But in world wars, there have been nights were 100,000 people died. We are talking about a single bombing raid with more deaths than the US had in all of the "War on Terror" since 2001, for example.
The bombing of Tokyo (東京空襲, Tōkyō kūshū) was a series of air raids on Japan by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF), primarily launched during the closing campaigns of the Pacific Theatre of World War II in 1944–1945...

The world clearly does not care about Ukraine.
No one cares about Gaza but terrorists and morons.
China won't touch Taiwan because it will be national suicide.
Yemen already quit.
No one is going to join a war with India or Pakistan.
on what grounds are you putting israel on the good side? how many tens of thousands of innocent civilians killed in gaza now? and still looking the other way when israelis steal land in the west bank. they're on a par with, if not worse than russia.

That's false. Yemen will not stop attacks against the zionazis until the siege on Gaza stops.

India literally cleaved into three - and even now threatens to split another section off - due to Islam

If Iran helps the houthis / Hamas / Hezbollah nuke Israel, Israel will retaliate by leveling Tehran. And thus the conflict will grow

Right, and Iran can figure that out, too. Since they don’t want Tehran to be nuked, they won’t nuke anyone else. It’s called “Mutual assured destruction” and it’s been in place for almost 80 years

You should do a little reading about the mullahs.... generally death cults which consider death to be a promotion view death a little differently than normal people.

Thoughts from a retired US Intelligence Officer:
I think there are too many down votes on this post. Folks here may be overly optimistic.
Excerpts rom a recent Newsweek article:
(Note: Fiona Hill is a widely respected expert on Putin and Russia.
"One of President Donald Trump's former foreign policy advisers, Fiona Hill, said on Thursday that World War III may have already begun since the conflict between Russia and Ukraine had already drawn in enough global actors.
and
In an interview with British-based Channel 4, Hill said World War III had already begun in some form, because of the way countries were reacting to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
and
"We're already in a situation where you could describe this as World War III structurally," Hill said. "Everyone immediately thinks nuclear war, nuclear Armageddon. And Trump wants Zelensky to just put up, shut up, and go away so we can get back to negotiating with Putin."
