My goodness. I remember watching Clinton Davis run around 10.2 in high school in the 80s and at the time he was among the greatest HS sprinters ever. Now we have two freshmen running faster than that in the same race? I can hardly wrap my head around this.
To be expected. Good stuff
Thinking he also holds the HS record in the indoor 200m, 20,4ish.
Always like to see that 200m with the young guys coming up.
9.92 and he's only a junior?! Wow!
If they can practice together and get their handoffs right, Christian Miller, Tate Taylor, Brayden Williams, and Maurice Gleaton could be a very special U.S. 4x100m relay team in the future.
Houston McTear ran his WR tying 9.0 as just a junior.
That 9.92 puts this kid on that top HS sprinters list for sure.

LOL. Let a man dream! 😀
So it's....
Betty Robinson wins the Olympic 100m as a HSer/16 in 1928
In 1924 at those Olympics HSer Francis Hussey runs a leg on our gold medal winnin 4x1 team.
Getting back to 1928 HSer Frank Lombardi wins the Cali state 100 in 9,6 tying the WR. Ran 101 yards.
1954 HSer James Jackson ranked number 10 in the world.
HSer Johnny Jones make that 1976 Olympic 100m final.
Above mentined Houston McTear
Now....Trendarvis Friday, Matthew Boling, Williams, Gleaton and Taylor
Yes, 20.46 at Nike Nationals.

He was something else as you know he could do it all 100, 200,400.

is his piss clean tho? 🤔
Anyone saying anything negative about this kid is clearly racist. Full stop
Came to post about this, glad someone already did. Incredible times from the whole field - imagine running 10.18 and getting 5th in a high school race.
