Could he have one last great race in him? It would be glorious if he did, but predicting it would be based on your heart and not your head. 2:07:20 for 10th.

No, I’m guessing, but I’m basing it on my head. He ran 2:02:42 in September 2023. Going 0-for-2 in marathons last year (2:06:50 and DNF) isn’t definitive proof that he’s no longer capable of 2:04 on a better day.
The only reason Kipchoge failed in Paris was all those hills. He can't run hills apparently.
But London doesn't have those hills, and I gar-on-tee the humilation has filled Kipchoge with the exact permanent seething hate that will make him run another 2:01.

This is a solid prediction, I could see him going out with the leaders in 61:00 for the first half and then fading but still holding on for a gutsy 2:07. Kinda similar to what he did in Tokyo last year. At his age, I don't think it's the greatest idea to stick with the leaders as long as possible even if it's what he's determined to do. But if he does have one last special performance in him, I'll be very happy to see him surpass my expectations
