Are you the same OP from the other "he'll never improve" threads?
The real answer is, Jakob will break a record or two this year and that means he'll be running a PR in either the 1500 or the mile.
And if he "only" gets the 5000m record, you'll say, "but that isn't a race anyone cares about" as if the 5000m isn't a classic event.
What is your point anyway, do you think he is overrated? Do you think he isn't good enough to be the best distance runner in the world? His win-loss record against anyone on the planet is amazing...

2026 is going to be an historic year for Jakob haters. After he breaks both WRs in 2025, all the idiots saying he won’t improve his times might finally be correct!
He doesn’t have the speed. He has maximized his endurance and time through wavelights. I don’t see anyway he breaks these records, he has peaked.
He's not a 1500m runner. He's a 3000m runner who is so good he can challenge records at a bunch of distances. 1500, mile 2000, 3000, 2mile, 5000m. Covers them all.

Oh no, not this again.
I think you made this thread in the wrong year. In 2025 he'll run 3:25.89 and 3:42.91
There once was a dork, Ingebrigtsen For records he always was fixin' but then he got old five years since a gold Josh, Hocker, and Jake got their licks in
Noone beats three twenty six oh oh Not some uff-da Norske geek, no no go home to the wife and live out your life and rat out your dad to the po-po
Yea, three consecutive 5000m world titles - all of them fake races. You probably also complained that Farah was not the best distance runner in the world during his heyday, instead touting the resume of whatever flavor-of-the-month Ethiopian had run in the 12:40s during an early season meet.

You failed to see that you were responding to a fake troll post.
