What’s something you get pleasure from and you can crank out every day

Creating healthy habits has gone a long way for me. Journaling has been wonderful. Usually first thing in the morning, I wake up full of thoughts and ideas. Nothing crazy. Maybe write down a couple things you’re grateful for, it’s easy enough to do a quick search and find some journaling prompts. Take a deeper dive into some subject, relationship, short or long term goals. It can be whatever.
I recently swapped out my phone in favor of a book before bed. Listen, I’m no guru here, I just finished my first book probably since high school and I’m in my 40s. I was really filling my brain with a lot of negativity right before falling asleep so this has been a big turn around.

I try to link up once a week with a friend for some cycling. I think it’s almost more of a therapy session for both of us. Also I’ve accepted I’ll never get any better at it because running is definitely my top priority, but still love it.
I know this won’t apply to everyone, but I have a young child and If they ask me do something the answer is yes. Last couple days we played Jenga, Battleship, kicked around a soccer ball, trampoline action. Whatever it is. Make time for them now or they won’t make time for you later.

I try to play music 25 minutes a day. I’m not very good, but improving. Thinking about starting lessons to try to get better. It began as a covid hobby and I’m trying to keep with it.

Music calms the savage beast.
