With wavelight pacing and fortunate conditions, Pamela Kosgei and Lexy Halladay-Lowry could launch an earnest assault on Valby's NCAA Outdoor 5000m record (14:52.18).
For those not familiar with the actual Brian Clay:

Let’s kick this off with a softball question, how close to 15:00 does she get?

She'll run around 15:15. Hedengren will go out too fast trying to keep up with the top college runners the first half of the race and she'll struggle the last 2 or 3 laps. She'll break the outdoor 15:25 record but she won't run faster than her 15:13 indoor record.

Jane is not an idiot. Very smart runner.
Elise sterns is gonna show everyone how powerful flagstaff aktitude training really is.
Jane Hendengren ran 15:15 indoor, early season, on a 200M track. By the time Bryan Clay rolls around, outdoor, 400M track she will go 15:00-15:10 . . . with a very real possibility she goes sub 15:00. She is wise beyond her years when it comes to proper pacing . . . she won’t go out “too fast.”

Jane Hedengren isn't the person at Bryan Clay who will be doing the pacing, so her pace is not in her control like it was when she ran 15:13 at Nike Indoor Nationals. Hedengren will be following someone else, and that someone else will be running faster than Hedengren is used to.
Wondering why they felt the need to start women's the heats of the 10000 at 7:00am... that seems a bit unnecessary. It is not even close to being hot here this week.

Sub 15:10. Armory is the armory, and I get it's indoor, but doing the work up front is gonna take it's toll no matter what. Being able to follow behind someone else will have huge dividends for her.
Man, did I really just say that? A HS girl could run 15:10~? This insane man. What the heck.
