He could be able to track, control, or kill you with it. (Funny how anti-vaxxers claim that vaccines implant tracking, mind control, or a death switch in you but are cheering on Musk’s ideas like this one.)
Tbh, I think there's good application there to help people with certain neurological conditions or even people with paralysis. Maybe future potential for cognitive enhancement? I will not be among the first volunteers for a Neuralink chip, however. Seems the early trials were crude with lots of dead monkeys and I would also want to make sure Musk isn't doing anything sketchy with it before putting one in my brain. He's certainly in it for the money, so can't rule out him using it for nefarious purposes if it makes him $$$
It's gonna happen either way whether its his company or some other company. Probably in a few years you'll but Chinese brain chips on Amazon for $15 and slap 'em on your head.

Perhaps this is the Biblical “mark of The Beast”?
Elon's not forcing anyone to take it by stripping their rights and freedoms and jobs from them.

Quite funny though, isn't it?
You've been having a years long hissy fit over a simple vaccine, but the only thing stopping you from being in the queue for a Musk brain implant is that you're poor and can't afford it.
Having the brain chip will be the difference between a mid and a perfect SAT, getting promoted or stagnating at work, and eventually homeless versus being able to afford a studio.
It will be like PEDs but much more useful to the average person.
International government partnerships will need to be formed to prevent research into brain enhancing technology for everyday use or else whichever country allows it will dominate and create worse future for all.
earth has a carrying capacity. Biology inherently runs on exclusivity, envy, and dominance.
No matter what we do, manipulating levers to be more sexy, dominant, to live far longer, etc, will only be more toxic to the world
edit: what we need to do is develop technology to determine who is worth promoting. To determine who the psychopaths are, people who truly have no good will towards men. They will be turned into workhorses. Those who are the most hurt while still having good will towards men will be promoted and enhanced

Putting aside my current feelings about Elon Musk, I think neuralink and similar technology is the natural evolution of communication technology. The goal of communication technology is to make information as accessible to the human brain as possible. Technological innovations like the printing press, the internet and smart phones have all followed the trajectory of allowing humans to access information more efficiently. From a purely functional perspective, what is the difference between asking Siri to search something for you on our smartphone vs thinking of the search and having it available. The latter just cuts out some middleware.
Now is it a good thing that Elon Musk, a guy that has stepped into the political ring, is doing this? Probably not. But that likely depends on which side of the political aisle you are on.
Is this generally good for humanity? Maybe? You can definitely make an argument that this could make us smarter and more efficient.
I am going to completely remove Elon from the discussion because like electric cars, this is an evitable that is going to become mainstream eventually and he isn't going to be the only one doing it. Maybe not for another 30-50 years but it will happen. Think how different technology is now compared to 1975. I think they have already done this for some humans with major neuro limitations with good results. If there is demand and especially a result that improves people's lives or makes them easier/more enjoyable, it will happen
We are at a similar moment to the dawn of the Rocket Age. In the 1960s and 70s, the huge technical leap that enabled manned space missions to the moon set into motion a futurism that had everyone anticipating that humans would be traveling to distant galaxies and hanging out with all sorts of space aliens. The problem is that just because we can make one big technical leap doesn't mean that another is imminent and also doesn't mean that huge barriers are just going to melt away.
There have been big steps forward in brain science and haptic feedback and brain electrodes with promising treatments for things like parkinsons and epilepsy and for people who are paralyzed. Going from that technical leap to having a chip implanted that will turn you into a super computer is just like thinking that the next step from a manned mission to the moon is shooting off to distant galaxies and getting it on with blue skinned space women like Captain Kirk and the Enterprise.

Bc we never actually went to the moon, still can't

Anti-vaxxers are not cheering on brain chips, sir or ma'am. Source: I am an antivaxxer who is active in the antivax community.
Yes, Elon's brain chip enterprise is certainly reminiscient of the prophecy in Revelation of the mark of the beast.
Don't take the chip. Don't even take the wristband.
Repent and believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Much love!
OK, so here's something. I have a modest bit of paranoia; it doesn't rule my life, but it's there.
A few years ago, I had a basal cell skin cancer removed on the back of my arm by a dermatologist. I had the distinct worry that the surgeon was putting a homing chip in my tissue, as used with pets. I know this is laughable, yes?
A doctor who was secondary to my treatment had shown up at my appointments a couple times, and she was there when I had this dermatology procedure. It was not explained why she was attending some of my visits.
I've seen too many Twilight Zone episodes, right? Am I right? Honestly, I think my concern is indeed funny. I've never had any reaction or irritation to the site of the prodecure, and it healed well. Um... I think?
