That's why I gave him a high five 👋 after the race. Nothing more, nothing less. No need for ESPN to say he is an age phenomenon and not let him focus on further improvement.

Um, how did his brother develop at Georgetown? Crater kids will crater/
Thank you. Hmmm let’s all get excited about a 19 year old in high school 😂😂😂😂 here’s some straws let’s run. Clutch away. Steve Cram was in the Olympic final at 19.
Is he actually 19 or are we just saying that based on Athletic.net?? Athletic.net lists your age as the age you turn during the calendar year so even if he turns 19 on December 31, 2025 then he would still be listed as 19.
For reference, a kid who turns 19 somewhere between September and December of 2025 would be a senior right now and would not be too old for their class (although they would be on the older end).
I was no sub-4 miler, but I was running my third year of college cross country at 19. Can you redshirt in HS to get an extra year?
In that circumstance, it sounds like your parents wanted you out of the house early and completed a waiver to send you to Kindergarten before the state recommends it.

Steve Cram's PR was slower than 3:40 at that time. I'm definitely excited about Tostenson.

If by 3:40, you mean 3:35.5, then yes. He also ran 3:34.7 twelve days after that Olympic final

Mostly correct, so kudos! I was actually kicked out of kindergarten into first grade because I would not nap.

You know who else went to Crater? Max King. He was a trail boss for like a decade. This generation of Crater kids is even faster, so I have high hopes they'll be just a good as pros as Max was...
Max is a 1998 graduate and a four year letter winner in cross country and track during his days at Crater High School...
