I don’t care for Jakob but I doubt if your 3 stooges will ever run faster than 7:17.55.
Maybe but worth noting that they have bicarb and superspikes, Jakob did not

He had whatever his mad scientist father was giving him.
Britain's Evan Grime might join them this year. He ran a 4:05 mile last summer at 15 1/2.

Doubt all you want. They will run faster than him at everything just like they’ve been doing as teens!

Agreed. Jakob is the most untalented runner in history. His times and performances are the results of a mad scientist in Gjert giving him perfect training. Nobody will remember him in 20 years time. Ruthe and others will have largely surpassed him.

The key thing for Jakob is he progressed to 3:31.18 pre-supershoes at Monaco before his 18th birthday and translated that into two European titles. Am bullish on Myers, Laros, Ruthe you name it but that level of winning/fast running hasn’t yet been matched really.
And they aren’t stooges. They are 3 Princes. Soon to be 3 Kings and 3 Saints when they break all of Jakob’s records, leave him in their dust, and wipe that grin off his face!

Dumb comment. Myers and Ruthe aren’t European so they aren’t eligible to run at Euros!
Well I will point out super shoes. I also don't think they are generational talents. A generational talent is heads and shoulders above competitors. Jim Ryun as a teen is the best example of a generational talent. Jakob was probably generational if we draw the arbitrary line at the introduction of super shoes.

Jakob fanboys said supershoes weren’t the reason for the records he’s broken the last few years.

For Myers, he had an opportunity last year to win Aussie Champs to take part in Paris and/or some big races afterwards (World Juniors etc.). He's completely turned the corner this year from a time standpoint, but it just shows how good Jakob's progression was that he didn't have an "off" year where his performances leveled off and 2018 was as good as it was. Laros has had more of an injury saga that's held him back, but he has run well in the global champs to his credit.
For Ruthe, he'll be a shoo-in to global teams if he runs fast, so it'd be great to see him first compete well at the junior global level and then try to make a dent time-wise and championship-wise. Jakob did that, and yes he had the bonus of a prestigious regional competition that Ruthe doesn't have.
People ignore this because they are in denial. Most of the people on here used cheater shoes to achieve their PRs

You can’t compare an Olympic Trials to a Euro meet in a non global championship year when many athletes are messing around and not at their best. The competition was much tougher and the stakes much higher for Myers last year at the Aussie Olympic Trials than it was for Jakob at Euros in 2018.

Hmm. How many of them place 4th (1500m) and 5th (5k) in the World Champs at the age of 18?

Jakob was 19 when he did that. Laros 6th in the Olympics at 19. The Olympics trump the World Champs.

Well to be fair Jakob won 2 golds and Myers finished 5th.
Wightman (3rd at Commonwealth Games), Amdouni and Lewandowski (World Indoor Silver) were in good shape and trying I'm sure.
"Much tougher" might be strong considering we're talking about Adam Spencer/Olli Hoare (who struggled a lot of the season), Stewy (big off year), and Jesse Hunt.
Jakob's PBs at the end of his teens:
1:46.44
3:28.68
3:51.30 (18 at the time, 3:47.24 at age 20)
4:50.01
7:27.05
13:02.03 (He was 18 at the time, didn't run any 5000m races at 19. He also closed that race in 2:25.8 for the final 1000m, 1:23 for the last 600m, 53.6 for the final 400m, 25.6 for the final 200m. He had 12:55 in the tank that day.)
8:26.81 (16 at the time)
These guy might match Jakob in the 800m and mile, but the other distances are gonna be a tall order. I might have to eat my words, but 3:28.68 and 7:27.05 aren't a stroll in the park, no matter who you are.
Jakob reached the world championships at 16 (turning 17 that year). Laros did not do that in 2022, Myers did not do that in 2023.
Jakob also got TWO top 5 finishes (5th and 4th) in the world championships a couple of days after turning 19. I'm not sure if Laros, Myers and Ruthe have that range. Top 5 in one distance, sure, but two is pretty darn unique.
Jakob is also the first runner to win medals in both the 1500m and 5000m in the U20 world championships. Abdisa Fayisa is the second one (2024).
Also, 4 consecutive continental (European) championship golds in cross country. (Toying with Europe's best 19 year olds when he was 16)
