why would anyone care about some meet at boston (which a lot do) and not this for example?

People will say it matters only if Josh Kerr shows up and wins, as last year. If Jakob wins, it doesn’t matter because the competition isn’t what he’s used to. If he loses, then it matters big time. Anything at all that helps the anti Jakob narrative.
A guy with a similar name to the one I am using once said that the athletes do not care about indoor, and simply train through it, so why should I invest any emotion in it?

No. I don't care about any professional running. Track, road, or mountain. Running is a fun participation sport, watching it is right up there with a taint waxing as far as excitement goes.
Yes. Several indoor track world champions will be crowned making them king/queen at least until outdoors or the next indoors
At comparable outdoor distances....yes. Niche/unique indoor distances...no.

I feel that way about professional Basketball, Baseball Football, and motor sports. (And I dont watch them.) Buncha millionairres showing off. But I am such a running junky, I'll watch anthing anwhere that involves organized running--maybe even a firesale or late subway train. So, Yes, if it moves Ill watch it, even if I get dizzy watching all those tight circle.
