Dead last in the entire race, and some of you all said he was a contender to win.
I still say when all is said and done he will have a much better career Than Milers Like Steve Cram, Steve Scott, Said Aouita, Nourrednei Morceli and Steve Ovett, Probably not as good as Hicham El Guerroug but hey El G was Jakob Ingebrigsten level.

Just out of curiosity: What was your BAC when you posted this?
Can this site add an algorithm to prevent the phrase "left/leaves devastated" from being in a post title? How do YOU know what the guy's reaction was to his race? I guess that's called "schadenfreude." That's just being a drama queen.
Probably because he still wanted to try to contribute to the team and no athlete wants to seem like they're ducking a competition, especially this meet. I ran my entire high school senior season with a fractured foot that didn't heal correctly because I refused a cast (I didn't want the attention and sympathy). I felt obligated to the team and didn't want to be thought of as a quitter. The discomfort and being subpar made for a tough season but it ended with a state meet plaque.

It’s not that kind of sport. Unless someone wants to significantly increase healing time, if something hurts, he should back off.

Watching the replay of the women’s 5000m, I kind of winced for Bunnage; knees can be serious.
Yep. He needs to get away from Jerry. Now. Jerry is apparently under orders to hurt certain athletes.
Yeah. Jerry is being paid 20 million a year by Vin to tank Oregon. I always knew those 2 were shady. Vin's plan is to get Simeon so disappointed with OR that he will transfer to VA. Then Vin will coach Simeon without injuring him.(Because when has Vin ever injured an athlete?)
