Saw she's no longer running THE TEN. Seems like she's only raced once since the olympics so once in the past 8 months. I find it hard to believe that she wouldn't be ready to race.
Doesn't she already have the standard / world ranking equivalent from last season? Many top americans are not doing the Ten for that reason
But Kelati also has it. Coogan races his team so that's where my head is at with Valby. Although she raced a lot last year, pretty odd to race only one time in the last 8 months. I hope she's not though and maybe we'll see her in May?

Was wondering the same thing. I do not see Hicks either. Thought I might have overlooked them?
Maybe. I think Mackay posted a photo with her at a beach near Tampa a couple weeks ago. Strange that she would be in Valby's hometown backyard unless the team was training down there.
She’s training in Florida right now. She hates Boston. Make of that what you will.
😮??? Source?
Maybe you mean she thinks there are obviously better places (somewhere at altitude) for a distance professional athlete to train, just like Boston Billy thought?
New Balance Boston does obviously have some positives. But Valby might be finding out how detrimental it is to lose the significant benefits of natural Vitamin D production.
Source: every sane person would hate winter training in Boston.
New Balance wasted their bigger on a girl who will never have a shot at medal or possibly never make another team. ( and her media and social media is bad)

Every sane person would hate summer training in Florida
Every sane person would hate rainy season training in Oregon
Every sane person would hate winter training in Flagstaff, and having to drive an hour to do a track workout (with nowhere to poop), and having to drive to Phoenix and get on long plane ride for every single race
I guess the only logical place to train would be San Diego, yet oddly you don't see any distance runners based there. I guess they just get it done wherever they choose to locate.
