Elon Musk, a staunch supporter of free speech, has personally appealed to President Trump to let Khalil out and stop ICE investigations into the political activities of legal immigrants. Musk told reporters that he would resign from DOGE and actively support any Trump opponent if the administration did not reverse course immediately and stand up for free speech rights for all legal immigrants. Musk said that he could not be part of any administration that trampled on the right to free speech.

He worked in London before coming to the US for grad school at Columbia

The Trump administration says that it will rescind his green card and deport him for "working with Hamas" to spread antisetic and pro-Hamas views...which is a designated terrorist originazation. It is still unknown if he will face charges in the US or just be deported.

He was one of the main organizers of the protests last year on Columbia's campus was active in the CUAD (Columbia University Apartheid Divest) and served as a primary negotiator between the protesters and the University Administration during the encampment last spring.

He was one of the few protesters that didn't wear a mask to hide his identity.

No one knows where he was taken to. It was originally thought to be at a processing facility in NJ but rumors now say he was taken to Louisiana.

Free speech unless it’s about Israel…

My school was taken over by a Palestine encampment and I was interrupted on a walk by some queers for Palestine who tried to get me to sign a woke petition. Although he’d be a net positive taxpayer I support this - completely tired of the protests

Totally agree. It's good to establish a precedent that anyone who annoys you personally is allowed to be disappeared to a jail in Louisiana then deported.
