There are three rationale ways of thinking, and one that is not logical at all. The rationale ones:
1 To think how we want US to be in hundreds or thousands of years
2 To only care about those living in the US right now, forbid people making children and spend all money now
3 See every person in every part of the world as equals
The illogical one:
4 Think about the people already living, and a few decades after our own deaths.
I feel most people are in on the last alternative and I don't understand why. You never know how the power balance will be in a few hundred years so if thinking long term it makes most sense to stay friendly with other countries and have stability. If thinking of only here and now then it makes no sense to care about money wasted at all. Can anyone explain?
