It's fascinating that sheep fail to realize that almost everything on the TV is aimed at controlling their minds. The state uses the mass for compliance to achieve their self serving agenda.

People working on boats, oil refineries and other heavy industries were regularly exposed to asbestos and hundreds of thousands would go on to die a horrible death from mesothelioma.
But, yeah. People back then really knew what was going on.
I agree. I am vaccinated and will always get vaccinated when I need to, but the mandatory vaccines except in special cases(disease that is hyper aggressive to a certain demographic etc) are dumb and well maybe not unconstitutional still should not exist.

Sure. But insurance companies (and the government) should be off the hook for any costs associated with unvaccinated individuals. If your stupidity causes a pandemic, then pay up!

My kids are also vaccinated. I am all in favor of measles vaccinations and vaccines in general.
However, I grew up in a country where measles vaccinations weren't introduced until the late 80s. In the early 80s, I had the measles. My sister had the measles. My cousins had the measles. Pretty much everyone had the measles. I don't know of anyone who died or was permanently harmed (though I'm sure among the millions of people who got the measles, some did die). For most people, it wasn't a huge deal - just part of growing up, like chicken pox in the US in the 80s, or the flu today. Lots of people die of the flu, far more than from the measles, but we really don't have a choice but to live with it, so we do. That's how it used to be for the measles.
So the absolute hysteria over the measles just feels over-the-top to me. My kids are vaccinated, so they're unlikely to get the measles. But if they did get the measles anyway, I'm sure they'd be fine.

I'm 78, have never gotten of the toxic shots ("vaccinations") since they were forced on me as a child, and caused extreme breathing difficulties which they called "asthma." Every time my Mom took me to one of the quacks they made it worse. My Mom rocked me in her arms as a baby and was afraid I was going to die. When I was 5 I begged her to not have me get the shots anymore and fortunately she agreed.
At that point I got rid of the "asthma" on my own, and never had it again after age 5. Later I broke 4 school records at my high school, won the league meet a number of times, and competed 3 times at the state meet in the 880 and mile. As an adult I ran 36 marathons, most of them in my 30's, and placed quite well in several of them.
I didn't even know there was a plandemic in 1969, but wouldn't have done anything differently anyway, as I've never been sick from a virus, and despite being sick all the time as a young child, I've never been sick as an adult, and I don't go to doctors. As far as I'm concerned there are probably a lot of people like I am.
My own experience the last 5 years is that 3 of the guys who I ran with 60 some years ago all got the shots and all three of them almost died from them, plus the wife of one of of them got a serious heart problem she'd never had before, and another one's sister is only a shell of her former self after getting the shots. A neighbor who I'm good friends with got the first 2 shots and both times he ended up in the hospital and thought he was dying. After that he and his wife decided to not get any more of them. Two other guys who I ran with 60 years ago died right after getting the shots.
With all that, I don't know of anyone who didn't get the jabs who got sick. That's just my personal experience. I agree with the others who say this should be entirely a personal choice, and that NO ONE should be forced to do anything that they don't wish to do. Plus no one should be stopped and/or banned from shopping for groceries for not wearing a breathing constrictor (i.e., mask).
Definitely. You should just pay like a 5k fee to cover the burden your choices are placing on society. Who would object to taking on responsibility for their actions?

Were people who experienced bad reactions to one or more Covid shots stupid or smart to have gotten them? I consider myself healthy and in a low-risk group for the consequences of getting the Covid virus but had to get a shot to keep my job. I had difficulty moving my left arm for two months after getting the shot. So was I smart or stupid for having gotten it? Had I not gotten the shot, just how much would I have contributed to the pandemic given that people who got the shot were presumably well protected?
My occasional smoker sister kept encouraging me to get the shot, but she defends her smoking by saying it helps her to relax. My older brother who is overweight by 100 pounds did little to improve his health after getting Covid. Was there any national or global effort to allow the Covid pandemic to catalyze a movement to improve health by means such as stopping smoking, controlling obesity, stopping substance abuse? It seems to me that a great opportunity was missed. Instead, reliance on shots and for other people to do things - get vaccinated - was promoted, while people still went about their own usual unhealthy ways.

Amazing. You people apparently got through covid and the lesson was "we need more government control". And when you agree with "mandates", do you mean jail to start, eventually prison, or banished to an island? What specific fundamental rights of individuals do you support removing?
What's fascinating about you people is normies like me pre-covid thought the guns nuts were insane to suggest we need 400 million of them in this country to defend against a totalitarian government. But if covid radicalized me in one way, it's that because so many of you people exist, which I naively didn't realize, I have a moral duty to arm myself to protect my family from authoritarians like you. Especially if you gain power in government.
So yes, I'll make the decision to vaccinate my kids at my discretion. Which they are for most things. But if you think that decision will rest with anyone but myself, it's not going to end well for you.

Since much of the vaccine debate centers on children, two points:
First, under the law, children do not for the most part have agency to make their own health decisions. Just as the state has an interest in protecting children from physical abuse, it has an interest in protecting children from harmful healthcare decisions made by parents on their behalf. No child should die because their parent is incapable of making sound healthcare decisions for them.
Second, most vaccine mandates center on schools. Schools have a responsibility to keep their students safe. They don't allow students to bring deadly weapons to school, and they shouldn't allow unvaccinated students to attend.
Contrary to what you stated, low vaccination rates can absolutely impact people who have been vaccinated. Ask anyone whose child is undergoing leukemia treatments.

Nobody should be ‘on the hook’ for goods and services consumed by others.
in a world where insurance is totally deregulated and totally voluntary I’m sure insurance companies will assess risk as efficiently as possible. And thy would stand in stark contrast to the current scenario where they have little incentive to accurately price risk and large incentive to focus on lobbying to maintain a thin margin on a corruptly defined and artificially expensive set of products.

But when given the option to mainline ozempic people are lining up!! I can get skinny? No big pharma talk there, what are the ingredients? Who cares!
Funny “logic.
1. The vaccine skeptics and the ozempic users are not largely the same audience.
2. While I wouldn’t trust ozempic and certainly don’t think anyone should be buying it for anyone else, it seems to work. Nobody came out claiming it does something, only for it not to work as claimed.
3. The maker of ozempic is liable for safety issues that result from the consumption of ozempic. Not the case for vaccines.
4. I have not heard any reports of social media companies banning, flagging, or otherwise manipulating open discussion of ozempic. Not the case for vaccines.
