It is not the critic who counts. OP you don’t count.
They needed to give each other more space, get better at running in a pack. Barco, Daschbach, and maybe some others got tripped up two or three times. Feel for the Wisco freshman who got trapped behind them when they were playing bumper cars.
Nobody in fact ran 4:09 in this race.
To be fair their best miler wasn’t in it. Would expect McMahon-Staggs up higher though.
And since UW puts all their eggs in on basket as far as events go, they are out of it.
Thought the same thing watching live. You have five in the final. Make the race fast.
Winner was a out 20th best guy in the B10.
Watched the stream, genuinely looks like UDubb runners lacked experience in packs on 200m tracks. They ran most the race in lane 2 and 3. Having a fast oversized facility is great for training and PRs, and I’d imagine they would have faired better if the race was at Spire again, but not today!

2:09.9 for the leader then 4:03.5 for McFarland. A little tougher than 2:09/4:09.
