RIP: LSU freshman pole vaulter Dillon Reidenauer killed in traffic accident

More information. Accident occurred on campus. It appears she was driving a Honda Civic and was struck by a motorcycle. Motorcyclist also killed.

Motorcyclist's mother died in a motorcycle accident in May, per one of the news articles. Sounds like a genetic problem.

If the motorcycle hits the door very hard when the person is not expecting it it can kill them. It seems the motorcyclists mother did a similar thing.

Don't know for sure, but heard from someone close to the situation that the motorcyclist was going at an insane speed.

According to news reports "Both vehicles immediately burst into flames."

This easily happens if a vehicle is going way too fast, impact is basically an explosion. Speculation is unnecessary, have some shame and respect yall

Once in a while a driver dies when their car is hit by a deer. Although it doesn't look like it, most motorcycles weigh a lot more than most deer, and was likely moving much faster too.

Pretty sure the motorcyclist was going faster than was allowed “on campus”. A suicidal motorcyclist can go fast pretty much anywhere. Laws only work if a person is willing to follow them.
