I have been running in the Zoom Elite and the Zoom Elite 2 the last year. I need a new pair of shoes.
Should I try the new Zoom Haywards or stick with the Zoom Elite 2. I tried on the Hayward and they felt good with my orthotics but just wanted to hear some feed back from someone who has worn both.

i love the Elite, but the Hayward felt too narrow for me, just like the last verstion of the Skylon
something to consider is: do you need the modicum of stability the Elite offers or will you be fine in the more neutral Hayward?

I may need the stability that the Elite offers.
I tried running in the Vomero and they started to agrivate my achilles.
If anyone else wears orthotics and wears them in the Elites or the Haywards I would appreciate your imput too.

I've run in both and find the Hayward to be much cushier, definitely with less support, especially if you're needing orthotics. They work well for me because I'm pretty neutral and they are actually my cushioned long-run shoe. I also like the seamless upper on the Hayward so I don't get any annoying rubbing or anything of that nature that I tend to get with just about every other shoe.
So in your opinion are the Haywards better that the Elite for running with orthotics?
