Looking forward for that distance medley race. Finally NAU putting together a team. With so much depth over the years I never understood why NAU ignores the distance med.

Excited to see Waskom race again. He seems very hit or miss at anything that isn't an outdoor championship, but his 3:36 a couple weeks ago was solid, and I'd love to see him put up a time that puts him in contention with apparently the half dozen sub-3:50i guys we have sitting around now. Waskom listed in the 800 and the mile. Owen Powell also racing, definitely on watch for the first HS sub-4 of the year.
Drew Bosley in the 3k, his 13:21 at BU Terrier was definitely a step in the right direction (especially compared to 13:41 at BU in December). Also Leo Daschbach, he was the first HS sub-4 I got to watch, and he's finally made the jump to 3:55 this year after stagnating a bit in college. I'd love to see him throw down something solid. New Mexico also showing up, I honestly don't know about them fr, but I always like seeing people run fast, hoping for the best from them. Oh also Sahlman in the 800/3k, it'll be great to see what he can do after that 3:52 he just ran. His current pb is 7:48 from this meet last year (he doubled w a 1:47 800). I also see Lex Young doubling back from the mile, and then tripling back for the 5k (Leo only in the mile)
UW with 3 DMR teams, wouldn't be surprised if they went 1-2-3 over Stanford and California.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place but I see 5 teams listed for the DMR, California, Stanford, UW, UW, and UW. You're right though, not sure why they don't run it.

Off a recent 14:56 5k at BU, Halladay-Lowry seems primed for a nice PB in the 3. Will she have the same pacing help that Kosgei enjoyed (through 6+ min)?

Last year they had a pacer for the first mile and she was a few seconds slow.

"that girl" has been an elite runner since she was in middle school. Her trajectory slowed for a minute but for someone who lives in the PNW and has witnessed her rise over the years I'm not surprised. She and Taylor Roe dominated the NW for a long time before college.

In high school at 2 miles, Valby ran 10:10 vs Halladay 10:30 pbs. Valby just did it as a late blooming sr.
Halladay did run 4:40 in the mile as a freshman. In fact it was to win one of the big June national miles, and was at the time the national freshman record!
It was also her high school pb, as she did not improve as a soph, jr or sr.
So Halladay's career more like Tyynismaa. National success at 8th/9th grade. Struggles in high school. Then refinding herself in college.
Valby, on the other hand was just good in high school, but exploded in sr spring track. She then continued that improvement at Florida.
