No, no. You really are left with a choice. You could choose to do the right thing.

Either get a place in the ballot, run a charity place (you can just pay the minimum fund raise yourself if you don’t want to ask people), or train hard enough for a good for age place. This is what everyone else does. Why do you think you are different?

You don’t have a right to run London. Don’t ruin it for everyone else.

If the organisers want to allow people to walk it in 6+ hours, that’s their call. It has nothing to do with you. You are trying to justify doing something wrong by making them the problem. You are the problem.

The irony here is that you could get a good marathon time and qualify for the event. You just don’t want to.

I don't feel I have ruined it. It been ruined by people doing wanting to do 7/8 hour marathons.

I have already raised plenty for charity previously.

You can’t see what you’re doing wrong because you aren’t thinking about this properly. You’ve decided what you want to do, and are now just justifying it.

The rules are clear. Unless you have a place in the race, you can’t run the race. You are breaking the rules. That’s what you’re doing wrong.

You have conveniently ignored the huge increase in numbers of people running even in the last 10 years.

Your hand is not forced! Nobody is forcing you to do the wrong thing here. It is all on you. You are fully responsible for any wrong doing.

London does not owe you a place in the marathon.

You have other options. You just don’t want to do them.

They have security in the course that will have you removed. Grow up and do another marathon you big baby

If you really want to run London you can offer to volunteer at the Expo handing out numbers and putting up gazebos. It's not ideal preparation but if you really want to run it, they will give you a place for your time.

As long as you lose the top you join the course in how are they going to locate you? Sounds impossible
