The best one was the David Beckham/Matt Damon/Stella Artois commercial.
Did anyone else feel like they had a stroke during the dunkin donuts ad with the afflecks? Like literally had no idea what language they were speaking, what the commercial was about...?

That was a horrible ad.
Unpopular opinion on letsrun- The Nike ad with the women athletes was my favorite.
The super bowl ads reminded me of the community comments at school board meetings where anyone can sign up for 2-3 minutes in front of the school board to speak their mind. Everyone is so stressed out about their time that they end up trying to make the most profound statement since MLK's "I have a dream" speech and end up falling flat on their face.
For $8 mil a minute and given that the super bowl may be the last TV event where people will watch it live and sit through the commercials, you would think that someone could come up with a decent commercial. But they were by and large all over produced, over celebritied, big fat flops. The Willem Dafoe, Catherine O'Hara pickle ball commercial was funny, but not $8 million funny. There were too many boss girl commercials, especially the Nike ones. It is getting to the point where the boss girl stuff in the media is actually undermining women's issues by laying it on so thick that it makes it seem like women have achieved nothing and will never get anywhere.

Bud Light ad was also quite good. In fact, the Budweiser ad was uncharacteristically rather flat this time.
The Dodge Ram commercial being a Glen Powell Goldilocks riff is fitting because for 90% of consumers the need for a pickup is total fantasy, just a straight up fairy tale view of masculinity. Fantastic indeed.
The first Gemini ads with the dad's interview was cool - when his answers to the interview questions are voiceover for the time with his kids. I'm a grown ass man, almost cry (if not already). Parents never really had time for me growing up.

I used to like Nike, then all the stuff with USATF (that indoor nationals debacle) and the issues with Salazar and women and dealing with pregnant athletes ....
But I got the impression that they're trying to re-tool their image (and beliefs?).
They used to "shun" small, locally owned running stores.
They're trying to change that now and I liked the ad telling women to Just do it.
